PR Grant Program
MDA Public Relations Grant Program — Funding Community Impact
Every year, the Michigan Dental Association awards up to $30,000 in Public Relations Grants to local dental societies for projects that educate the public, increase awareness of oral health, or improve access to dental care. Grants of up to $5,000 are available per project. Whether you’re hosting a school-based event, a community health fair, or a public education campaign, we want to help you create lasting impact — not just give away toothbrushes.
What we’re looking for
We encourage initiatives that go beyond giveaways and focus on meaningful community engagement. Examples include:
- Oral health education programs for underserved populations.
- Fluoride awareness campaigns.
- Hands-on school events or collaborations with local nonprofits.
- Mobile dental screenings or services for high-need groups.
Who can apply
PR Grants are available to all MDA component societies and districts. Collaboration with local partners is encouraged.
How to apply
Submit your completed application by the Oct. 31, 2025, deadline. Awards will be announced in January 2026.
Post-event impact reporting
All PR Grant recipients are required to submit a post-event impact report, including a short recap, photos, and metrics of success.
