The privacy protection regulations under HIPAA applies to individually identifiable health information collected on patients and maintained in records, claim forms, and other documents. This includes the type of information typically collected and recorded via medical and dental histories, examinations and treatment conducted in dental practices.
As of Nov. 4, logging into the MDA site has changed with the launch of the new MDA database. Your previous password will no longer work for logging into the new MDA database. Follow these steps to reset your password and get logged in:
• Enter the email you previously used for logging in and follow the prompts.
• You’ll be asked to set your new password.
• Once you’re logged in, you can click My Profile in the top right corner to update your profile, renew membership, and more.
